How come, five years apart, scientists change their minds about what makes us live longer?
Carbs are good! meat is bad!
Carbs are bad! EAT ONLY CHOLESTEROL
INSTEAD OF MEAT, TRY CANDY
usually the articles that popularize these studies end with the paragraph “of course, in moderation, ____________ can both improve the quality of your enjoyment of life, while also improving the length of life, as it did in the cancerous rats we tried our theory out on.”
But let me tell you this: coffee drinkers don’t need any encouragement. An article I saw recently in someone’s news feed says that coffee encourages longevity. The key is moderation… but that’s the key with everything! heck, one cigarette per day COULD likely improve longevity, when coupled with a balanced diet, and a lifestyle of exercise and stress-less-ness.
