I think it’s safe to say that coffee-dog is 99% recovered from her invasive ovary-scooping procedure.
By the way, the “ask not for whom the bell tolls” quote is from a poem written by John Donne, and it is amazing, and you can read it here.  It’s also where the “no man is an island” quote comes from… It’s got some good stuff to say.
When I was awoken by my beloved coffee-dog this morning, this comic (and the title of this comic) was the first thing that popped into my mind.  I haven’t made a “charlie waking up” comic in a long while, so i figured, why not…  and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the quote that popped into my head for the title means a lot more then I originally thought.  It’s a beautiful thing, reading some poetry first thing in the morning!

In other news, as I was drawing this, I kept hitting “3” instead of “E”, so that my brush wasn’t turned into an eraser, but just a really weak-sauce opacity.  Photoshop woes!
