After a week away, it’s good to be back!  That was the first time i haven’t drawn a comic every week day, or had something scheduled to update, since before i got married… or at least, made the decision to have nothing to update.

The first few days, I felt really lazy.  On Wednesday, it started feeling pretty good.  On Thursday, i thought about possibly doing a larger-scale project… On Friday, I plotted it out, and on Saturday, i started sketching.

This will be my most ambitious comic-project yet!  When it’s finished, we’ll have a glorious stand-alone graphic novel of sci-fi deliciousness.  If that isn’t your thing, i think you should try it out, it’s gonna be accessible and worth reading!   Stick with it for a bit.  If you find it interesting or like where it is going, you should share it!

So, while charlie and the ghost has always been a monday-to-friday updating comic strip, that is going to be changing!  My goal has always been to draw a little bit every day.  The problem i’ve run into, after doing that for like… 4 years… is that the daily race of thinking of an idea, drawing it out, compressing it and sharing it… is no longer creatively satisfying!

My plan is going to be to release the pages in chunks (like today’s update, which represents 5 pages), so that you’re never stuck with an update that is one frame of something exploding, or something like that.  I’m going to add a page that will collect ALL of the updates, and i might have to look into archiving… but for now, you can expect an update every monday, with at least five pages worth of content!  IF I have an especially productive week, it’ll just get added to the next monday’s update.
