Laziness isn’t a virtue, but it’s a good place to start

It was a strange week this week on Charlie and the Ghost!  As the winter comes around, I grapple with my dying desire to exercise while, like a phoenix, my desire to do nothing but play video games arises once again.  Oh, and I made a grape and Square supercut.  Give it a watch!  Skip through, watch how the animation improves!  😀

who knows what the future holds

I spend entirely too much time worrying about the long term effects of our short term oriented culture.  i’m sure it’ll all work out, right?  onto something else.

Vanity, thy name is Charlie.

From grocery store judging to the humiliation of dishwasher repair, this week’s updates see our hapless hero guarding his precious ego from the hardships of “not being able to afford apple products”, “driving through a sketch neighborhood” and “being duped by social media.”  Hypocritical, egotistical, all bark and no bite!  Just another week here at Charlie and the Ghost! 😉

I sort of like trying to find a theme that run through the weeks updates.  By the way- if you are still getting these comics primarily through email, and you are wondering why you are getting 5 non-continuous comic strips in your inbox, know that I am updating every day (but for some reason, wordpress will only send out the blog updates and not the comic updates themselves).  So, if you are bored and in need of something to “internet” throughout the week, you can get these bad boys EVERY DAY if you go to charlieandtheghost.com!  (PLUS, you get them at a bit higher resolution without having to click on them.)

Embracing the inevitable

All the comics this week have something to do with embracing the inevitable.  I started the week off with a healthy dose of complaining about how inevitable it is to see videos i don’t wanna see due to Facebook auto-playing everything (regardless of how many times i turn auto-play off).  Writer’s block: inevitable.  Getting older and uglier:  inevitable!  Having TONS of great toys, only to have your kid be more interested in a box?  Yep, that’s inevitable.  And finally, frustration with entitlement and the political system.  inevitable.
