I think, now that I have daughters, and now that I’m watching a lot of cartoons and shows geared towards their demographic, and seeing all the tropes of that stuff (puppies, unicorns, friendship, magic). Watching all that makes me wonder who the tropes in anime are geared towards. I suppose it’d be guys, but I mean, all I wanna do is see robots destroy each other without weird boob tropes.
