I’ve been making these “Robbie and the bot” (and sweet dee) comics as a way of pushing through an inspiration block caused by increasing restrictions around covid where I live. When covid restrictions hit here the first time, the only comics I could make were semi-depressing lazy commentaries on covid. I didn’t post half of them and then I just got discouraged and took a break from making comics! Normally gogomachrocketsheep is just taking stuff that happens in my day-to-day and making it ridiculous, or sometimes just chronicling it exactly the way it normally happens, but I mean if my thoughts are jumbled and anxious, there’s only so many comics I can make about that before it feels exhausting and discouraging.

so these Robbie and the bot comics are a fun way to continue to make comics even when I don’t have my normal inspiration! I hope you’re finding them fun to read. I’ve been reading a lot of Calvin and Hobbes and a lot of peanuts comics and I thought it’d be fun to do something in that vein.
