Alrighty! The last couple weeks have been an awesome couple of weeks of vacation! We made the trek from BC to SK and saw a tonne of family. It’s the first time in ten years i’ve been back ‘home’, and the first time in probably 15 years that i’ve been to the prairies when it wasn’t winter. It was the first time my daughters had space to play safely without adult supervision, and met some other cousins their age, and experienced a bit of what defined MY childhood. Oh man! it was good stuff.
Vacation has been really good! Later this week we’ll be back to reality, but not for another few days. Until then, I’ll bask in the sweet sweet glow of vacation-induced lack of responsibility.
