My goodness- January is gone and February is HALF OVER! Well, not exactly, but Valentines day is like a week away so WHAT BETTER TIME than now to get crackin’ on some custom valentines! Check out the video and draw along- and of course send me what you come up with. (Maybe this is just a sneaky way to get people to send me valentines? ??? I can neither confirm nor deny.)
This week was actually pretty productive from a comic making perspective because Feb 1st is HOURLY COMIC DAY! Every waking hour, I took five minutes to sketch out what I did in that hour.
That’s basically the whole concept. I give myself some rules: first, they can’t take longer than 5 minutes to make (otherwise i wouldn’t get any work done). Second, no erasing! Third: If something funny happens in that hour, that’s what I have to document.
I started them with a brush-marker that was pretty well worn out, then I switched to a real cheap brush-marker that only took a few comics to wear out.
So without further ado, here’s my hourly comics for 2022! (You may have to click them to get them to look right- the preview is looking sort of funky).
