This week, INSPIRATION STRUCK for the ‘let’s draw’ theme! And by inspiration, I mean, an idea so obvious I can’t believe I haven’t made it yet. I decided to do the ‘lets draw’ as a basic ‘how to draw a comic strip’ tutorial. It’s a bit different from the usual directed drawing video, but I ran this activity with my Friday night comics class and we all had a good time! So you should definitely give it a shot. Start with writing a basic 4 panel stick-man comic, then sketch some better art, then finish it off the way we’d finish off any illustration: ink and colour! If your comic doesn’t make sense as a stick-man comic, it probably won’t make sense with more complicated art, so make sure you write something that is clear and easy to understand. Oh- and make sure you send it to me! I LOVE READING COMICS!
