I’m sure Mozart had his moments, that guy was a bit of a wild card.
I sat down last night to make a comic and had no ideas, other than the fact that the music we listen to can really colour everything we see. So I made that into a comic! 😉 have a great day!
Oh man. I was thinking about getting back into song writing and recording and stuff… Drawing and music have always worked hand in hand for me… it’s nice to have something to switch out with, you know? Anyways. I got nominated for a bloggin’ award of some sort! yay. I don’t know how it works, I’m going to figure out how that all works tomorrow, so you can expect a saturday post, though it won’t be the norm! Have a great weekend everyone!
“Aero bars are the worst. They aren’t meaty enough. When I bite into a chocolate bar, i need SUBSTANCE.” -Diana Shauf, August 8th, 2014.
Have a great weekend everyone!
If you are a pharmacist, chances are you could be anything! you have skill, determination, academic ability, a photographic memory… But if you are a hype man, you’re pretty much only good at making other people look good, and there isn’t really much else you can do.
…i hope people get this comic, it really killed me on the drive home the other day.
Musicians are touchy! And i don’t mean, like to touch things. I mean, you gotta be careful around them! I would know this, because I am a musician(ish).
Right from the beginning of making this comic strip, ghost has always been both a blessing and a curse in terms of character dynamics. A blessing because ghost was really easy to draw, and a curse because ghosts can’t exactly interact with the physical world in the same way that a flesh-and-blood character could. More than a few times, I’ve been frustrated, trying to write comics around this… but restrictions are a good thing, i think. So, this is a comic about that… sort of. I mean, if ghost can talk, technically, she is interacting with the physical world… but whatever. suspend your disbelief! haha.
I was on the Rdio of one of my favourite semi-local hip-hop personalities, and i was reading a bunch of the reviews and comments, you know, learnin’ stuff… when ALL OF A SUDDEN, there was a comment that said something like “(artist’s name) would kill himself laughing if he knew a bunch of white boys were commenting on his music.” which kinda sucks, because I guess I have to be a secret fan. Seeing as “fan” is short for “fanatic”, i don’t really see how it’s possible to be a secret fanatic.
The internet! it can be a very unwelcoming place.
For a second, i thought, “what if it’s true? what if (artist’s name) would laugh in my face if i walked up to him at a show and bought his merch?” Then I remembered that I read the comment on the internet, and it couldn’t be trusted. FEWF.
