I’ve always wanted to know the difference between a watch and a timepiece.  best as I can tell, most people don’t really differentiate.  I found one guy who said the difference is that a timepiece is heirloom quality timelessness, a watch that will always be in style.  That sounds kind of pretentious to me, though i kind of like it, which makes me kind of pretentious, which i might be ok with, if I had a super awesome watch.  i mean timepiece.

I needed a solution, which is why i’ve taken to calling watches TIME MACHINES.  it’s one step better than a watch, but not as pretentious as calling them timepieces.  EVERYONE WINS.  Except for people that care about time travel.  which also kind of happens to be me.
