In the last five years, i’ve gotten writers block (or whatever the kids are calling it these days) more times then I can count.  Heck, I haven’t written lyrics that i actually like in over three years.  Every once in a while I will make instrumentals i don’t hate…  But it’s been a long time since I feel like I’ve had an ear for writing good music.  Lucky for me, i usually have a few different creative outlets at my disposal when I get frustrated with one of em is developing.  But sometimes that’s the problem!  The problem with being able to just ditch a creative outlet when it gets hard means it never really gets good?  possibly?  I don’t know.

All I know is that I was planning on animating all day, and I ended up watching Star Trek Voyager.  I’ve seen every episode of TOS and TNG and enterprise, but i’ve never watched Voyager or DS9 all the way through.  I felt like I wasted the day… but i feel pretty inspired by it.  Anyways, Voyager is good.  Time to watch an episode before i go to sleep.  I’m also listening to old five iron frenzy, it is making me happy.
