Floating Islands

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted a collection of ‘GoGo Weekly” because papers were due, there were exams to study for, etc etc etc. Life gets busy. It certainly isn’t any less busy, but I find myself sitting in a library waiting for a class to start and a few minutes to write down something I’ve been thinking about lately.

I would like GoGo Weekly to evolve slightly (I know I’ve said that a lot over the years, but THIS TIME I’m gonna make it happen). I’ll still post videos, comics, music and whatever else I’ve been making to the website, just not under the banner of ‘GoGo Weekly’. The rest of the website will be for all that.

GoGo Weekly is going to be my venue for writing. Like, WORDS writing. I’ve been wanting to do that for a while and I just keep forgetting, or running out of time, or any of a million reasons. But I’m all out of english classes, and I’m no longer a preacher, and if I can’t find a way to write and edit and edit and edit and edit my thoughts to be coherent and (hopefully) entertaining, I’m worried that whatever skills I’ve developed in that area will atrophy. Because I’m a project motivated individual, it’s really helpful to have a reason to write, and challenging myself to write and post one thing a week that is worth reading will be useful for me to make it a priority. This probably would have been a good new year’s resolution. Ah well, I’m only a month late.

Either than that big change, I just wanted to draw your attention to the fact that I’ve now successfully migrated every Space Chuck chapter over to this main site. If you haven’t read them through, you should! They are a lot of fun. Maybe you’ve been reading them in your email as I’ve re-uploaded them… Sorry if that was a lot of spam, I’ve got it sorted now so that If I do any big re-uploads, it’ll just show up on the site without the constant notifications.
