back in the day, people would banter on and on and ON about things they didn’t know about.  The person who presented their argument the best won “truth”, and everyone would believe it, and the fact would be cited as truth from that moment forward.  This phenomenon can still be observed in tim hortons across the country, whenever people that aren’t internet savvy are seen hanging out.

People can talk about sports and have opinions.  People can talk about politics and have opinions.  People can talk about MANY things, and have opinions… but sometimes, opinions (and FACTS) are made up, just to carry on a conversation.  When people FABRICATE FACTS, or FACTBRICATE ™ about something where facts are FREELY and READILY AVAILABLE on the INTERNET, IT MAKES ME SO IMPATIENT THAT I TYPE IN ALL CAPS.
Also, i really don’t understand the whole monkey/ape/primate debacle.
