GoGo Weekly: Sat, Jan 22nd, 2022

In this week’s ‘let’s draw’ we’re drawing TACOS and man alive making this video made me very hungry for tacos I can’t imagine why?

One of the most exciting things I’ve ever gotten to do with my art was the artist in residency a few weeks ago. I made a video recapping the week for the students and for the teachers and I never thought i’d be allowed to share it publicly but LO AND BEHOLD I was given permission! Check it out below:

These last few weeks have been ridiculously busy, lots of evening meetings, etc. I haven’t had as much time as I would like to engage with artistic endeavours (that might always be the case, though?) however I HAVE still been doing the cloudscape daily drawing challenge they’ve been running throughout the month of January. Here’s what I came up with last week:

The prompt word for this one was “Temptation”
The word-prompt for this drawing was “Second”
This prompt was “Sharing” and I guess i sorta just put it right in the image, didn’t I?
The prompt was “Bag” and I didn’t really have any good ideas so i just drew a bag on a dude’s head. I was trying out drawing in outline colours other than black (which sometimes works really well and sometimes doesn’t. This time was so-so)
The prompt was “Sister” and if you’re a star wars fan, you know what’s going on here!
