It’s true. The fall of 2026 has been eventful. I’ve started my new career, I’ve had my uncle and my grandma pass away, we had the chance to re-home a morkie and we took it, and there are still other big changes on the horizon.
During the winter, spring and summer of 2026, I was able to do a daily art challenge- but I’m finding that teaching is a job that will take as much time as you’re willing to give. I’m willing to give a lot of time to it because I want to capitalize on the opportunity to become a good teacher- anything I invest in that now is sure to pay off later.
In spite of this busy season, I know for a fact that if I don’t engage in creative pursuits I’ll go crazy… and so, I’m returning to my first creative love: Making comic strips! There’s no way I could maintain the daily comic strips of my mid twenties, but that’s okay. I’ll make what I can, and hopefully it’ll help to put a smile on your face!
